Details
During regular operation, Watchdog2 constantly monitors all inputs, looking for changes in pressure or flow. A drop in pressure on any pressure switch will cause the pump to run in what we call ‘jockey mode ‘. This mode is designed to re-pressurise the system (i.e., for a slow leak) before switching to fire mode if pressure is not reinstated. Activation of the flow sensor at any time will trigger fire mode immediately.
Watchdog2 automatically runs a regular system test (usually weekly) by opening the diverter valve, a component that reduces pressure, to check the operation of both pressure switches and run the pump to reinstate pressure.
Setting up the Watchdog2 is a breeze, requiring no on-site configuration as default settings are used. For more complex installations, the convenience of remote configuration comes to the fore, allowing settings to be easily adjusted and uploaded via a USB memory stick.

Diagnostic Mode
Watchdog2 can be put into diagnostic mode to aid installation and configuration, allowing it to monitor sensors and inputs without switching into fire mode.
Two push buttons on the front panel initiate manual tests and stop the system when fire mode is triggered.
