Job description
Martech is looking for a talented, experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to joint its design and development team.
Whilst this is a hands-on design engineering role, for the right person there is an opportunity to become Chief Engineer and part of the senior management team.
Working on a diverse range of projects for high profile customers in Industrial, Aerospace, Automotive, Sub-Sea and Defence, our engineers have the opportunity to engage in the design process from initial concept right through to product delivery. An ability to understand the customer’s requirement together with an ability to innovate and produce creative, effective solutions is paramount. For this senior role, an ability to lead small teams, motivate and direct would be an advantage, but is not a deal-breaker.
Key Requirements
Candidates should ideally have experience in some of the following areas:
- Electronic systems design (digital and analogue)
- Microcontroller and Raspberry Pi software development
- High level software (e.g. Windows)
- Product design
- Fault diagnosis
As well as a demonstrable track record in electronic design, technical problem solving and solution delivery, enthusiasm, adaptability and a positive attitude and are of equal importance. For this role we offer a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience and would be pleased to hear from all candidates that meet the above criteria.
Other Requirements
- 10 years or more in a electronic design role
- Must have valid UK ‘Right to Work’
- Must be suitable for UK security clearance
